Please join the BW Foundation this Friday night, March 19th, for its spring party and teacher/staff appreciation. This event will start at 6:30 p.m. at the San Diego Masonic Temple. It promises to be a fun-filled evening with food, drinks and dancing. The entrance fee is $25.00 per person and is tax deductible. Tickets will be on sale in front of the office before school this week or you can pay at the event.

Parent Conferences will be held on March 24^th, 25^th, and 26^th. School will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. on those days. Children riding the bus will depart at approximately 12:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

• If your child will not be using the usual bus service, please notify the school office. Bus drop-off times on conference days may be slightly earlier or later than a normal half day as this is not the driver's usual route.

The BW-PTA has endorsed a petition that will amend the California Constitution so that special taxes for school districts (parcel taxes) can be approved by a 55% vote (currently it requires 66.66%). Please learn more about this important issue at www.improvedschoolfunding.com.
